Latest Updates for Pokemon Go
Once again, Niantic has caught me off guard with a few updates to their mobile game. Below are some of the details of the latest updates for Pokemon Go, plus the recent news to come as of December, and the last few weeks of November (seeing as I missed them :P).
Ditto can now be Caught!
As of November 23, Ditto can now be found in the wild, but not quite in the way Pokemon normally show up. The next time you catch a Pokemon, there is a chance that it may reveal itself to be a Ditto instead!
To be honest, I didn’t know that I caught a Ditto until after I opened up my game. At the time, I was using the Pokemon Go Plus device, which allows you to catch Pokemon and hit Stops without even looking at your phone. So you can imagine the surprise of not finding a Pidgey, but a Ditto instead!
Transfer Multiple Pokemon at a Time
One of the best features yet, in my honest opinion. So many hours were spent swiping down the list of hundreds of Pokemon. Each time you wanted to transfer one, you had to tap on it first, and then tap the transfer button to get the candy (but not before the confirmation asking you if you were sure you wanted to transfer).
Now, the next time you amass a large number of Pokemon, you can now simply press and hold to select many at once.
A Partnership with Sprint and Starbucks
Niantic has been working with other companies to make their game better accessible. In other words, Sprint and Starbucks stores may now become PokeStops and Gyms in the future. Not a bad partnership, in my opinion. More locations are always appreciated.
Anyways, that’s about it for now. If you’re interested in seeing more info or updates on Pokemon Go, keep coming back more more info. If you enjoy the post, feel free to leave a comment down below; I always appreciate the feedback.
Until next time, happy gaming!
