From protecting your console to storing your games, there’s something for everyone.

Let’s get started!

#1 : Nintendo Switch Pro Controller – Tears of the Kingdom Edition (My Top Pick!)

While the Joy-Cons included with the Switch are versatile, the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller offers a more traditional and comfortable gaming experience. Its ergonomic design, responsive buttons, and precise analog sticks make it ideal for extended gaming sessions, especially for genres like action, adventure, and shooters.

If you haven’t already invested in a Pro Controller, I would highly recommend doing so. The comfort and ergonomics is second to none, and it sports a whopping 40-hour battery life. For more reading, you can read my review here.

#2 : Tears of the Kingdom Joy-Cons

If you are not in the market for a pro controller, you might be interested in a pair of Zelda-inspired Joy-Con controllers. While these ones are not officially licensed by Nintendo, they certainly look good for those who want to personallize their Switch with a little Zonai flair. Keep in mind that these particular controllers do not support amiibos, so if you have a collection that you want to use in game, you my want to give these a pass.

#3 : Joy-Con Thumb Grips

These little caps fit over the top of the Joy-Cons’ control sticks. Thumb Caps can help protect the most sensitive part of your Joy-Cons, saving you from having to buying new Joy-Cons down the road, though they may not help with the drift issues. Keep in mind that these are not intended to fit the Pro Controller.

#4 : Carrying Case

The Switch was designed to be played not only at home, but also on the go. Perhaps one of the best investments for your Switch is a travel case. After all, the Switch is a portable console, so it makes sense to have a safe way of taking it with you.

This particular case comes a black theme with Zonai blue trim, but also is available in white, and is compatible with all Switch models.

#5 : Shockproof Case by HYPERCASE

Personally, I like to use my Switch on the TV, so I don’t often take it off the dock to play on the go. But using a Switch without any kind of protection is kinda like using a smartphone without a phone case. There is the risk of drops, especially if little kids are involved, and the last thing you need is a drop to cause irreversible damage to your Switch.

This Zelda-themed protective case is your first line of defense in keeping your Switch safe from accidental drops. It’s no Hylian Shield, but it might give you a little bit of peace of mind. If you have a travel case, make sure there is enough room, as the case wraps around your Switch, securing them much like a phone case.

#6 : Zelda-Themed Game Card Case

I have to admit that I didn’t realize how convenient it was to have my games in one place until I got a game card case. Sure, you could still keep your games in the game case itself, but much like swapping CDs back in the day, it can get a little tedious when you have to search for the case of the last game you played.

This game card storage case can hold up to 48 game cards, and has magnetic buckles that prevent the card case from opening and make it more convenient to open and close the case.

#7 : Tears of the Kingdom – The Complete Official Guide

Much like Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom doesn’t force players into tutorials and lessons on the game mechanics. In this game, you are free to make your own story, learning things as you go. That being said, it can be challenging to learn everything without some help!

The Official Guide covers a massive amount of content, from controls to everything you could possibly learn about the game in a massive 500-page book. It’s the kind of book that you can open up whenever you’re looking for some help, or if you are trying to 100% the game.

#8 : Adjustable Playstand

The Switch OLED model already comes with a kickstand much better than the original Switch model. While the Switch’s built-in kickstand is handy, it may not be the most stable option for extended tabletop gaming sessions. An adjustable stand ensures a more secure and comfortable setup for multiplayer gaming with friends. It also gives you the option to plug in your console.

#9 : HORI Adventure Pack

If you need another way to take your console on the go, this officially licensed carrying bag might be a good option. Featuring artwork from Tears of the Kingdom, this bag has quality padding with adjustable strap and storage pockets to hold virtually all your accessories and controllers.

#10 : Decayed Master Sword Keychain

I have kind of a soft spot for decorative keychains and trinkets like this one. So if you’re a fan, and like to show off your love for Zelda in a somewhat subtle way, this might be right up your alley.

The Bottom Line on Tears of the Kingdom Accessories

All in all, these accessories are only a few; not only can they enhance your gaming experience, they can also help protect your investment in your Switch. Whether you’re looking for more comfortable gameplay, extra storage, or unique ways to show your passion for all things Zelda, these accessories are sure to take your Switch gaming to the next level!

Well, that’s about all I have for now. I hope this little posthelps you out, and if you have any questions or thoughts to share, feel free to leave a comment down below.

Until next time, wherever you are in the world of Hyrule, have fun and happy gaming!
